NOTE: Student will need to purchase One Year

Course
Description:
This class will immerse the student in the word by providing a daily reading and
memorization of the word of God. Students will be equipped to recite the word,
understand their position in Christ and develop a richer devotional life through
organized and systematic study of the Old and New Testaments, Psalms & Proverbs.
Course Objectives:
The student will:
1.
Learn and recite a daily declaration of
position in Christ.
2.
Explore Old Testament with Psalms &
Proverbs through daily reading.
3.
Explore the New Testament through daily
reading.
4.
Memorize the book of 2Timothy.
Assessment of Course Objectives:
Student achievement will be measured through
participation in daily Bible reading, measured memorization of scripture and
recital at end of school year as a comprehensive final exam.
Grading Policy: Grades will be assigned based on the percentage of
points earned from measurement of student achievement of course objectives.
The course grading scale will be
90%-100% A;
80%-89% B;
70%-79% C;
60%-69% F;
Attendance Policy: Students are expected to attend each class
meeting. Attendance is taken at 8:10.
The instructor is not
responsible for re-teaching material missed by a student who did not attend
class.
Civility Statement:
Each student is expected to follow the Student Conduct Code with regards to
appropriate behavior in the classroom. Food & drink is not allowed in the
classroom, unless express permission is given by the instructor. Inappropriate
behavior includes any activity that may detract from your fellow classmate’s
learning experience or in the instructor’s ability to conduct class.
Please respect your peers by not being disruptive in class.
